Masaki Kuboi

Chairman
Masaki has drawn upon his extensive experience in the foodservice industry to establish Peace Dining Corporation (PDC) and its subsidiaries, Maguro Ichiba Co. and Genji Inc. He provides strategic direction to the PDC group of companies.

Yasuhiro Onoda

Vice Chairman
The former COO and President of Genji, Yasuhiro now serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Genji. With more than 20 years of solid management experience in the food industry, Yasuhiro is presently President of Maguro Ichiba, Genji’s sister company in Japan.

Takeshi Yamakawa

Chief Executive Officer & President
Takeshi joined Genji in October, 2007, after establishing and running a pharmaceutical research company in the United States as President. As CEO and President, Takeshi plans and implements strategic goals of Genji. He is also directly in charge of all corporate management including legal affairs, finance, human resources and risk management, as well as planning and implementation of food safety management. He also has extensive experiences in governmental affairs having held various public official positions in the Japanese government.

Shingo Kanai

Chief Operating Officer & Executive Vice President
Before Shingo joined Genji in November, 2007, he served as a key executive member of the team that launched Starbucks in Japan and thereafter founded and ran his own restaurant/food consulting practice. As COO and Executive Vice President, Shingo is leading the strategic and day-to-day operations and business development to elevate Genji to the next level.
